hyperliquid funding rates

every hyperliquid perp’s funding rate: hourly, 8h and annualized, vs binance and bybit.

next funding in––:––
  • the rate is hyperliquid’s live estimate for the coming hour: it follows the premium of the perp over the oracle and settles on the hour. it’s capped at 4% an hour.
  • positive funding: longs pay shorts. negative: shorts pay longs. on a $10,000 position, 0.01% an hour is $1 an hour, about $8,760 a year.
  • annualized = hourly × 24 × 365, with no compounding.
  • shows the main perp dex; hip-3 (builder-deployed) markets and delisted coins aren’t listed.

good to know

how often does hyperliquid pay funding?

every hour, on the hour. the rate shown is the live estimate for the coming hour: it follows the perp’s premium over the oracle price plus a small interest part, and is capped at 4% an hour.

who pays when funding is positive?

longs pay shorts. when it’s negative, shorts pay longs. the payment is position size × oracle price × the hourly rate, so on a $10,000 position 0.01% an hour is $1 an hour.

how do i compare it with binance or bybit?

they pay every 4 or 8 hours, so compare like for like: the 8h column is hyperliquid’s hourly rate × 8, and the binance / bybit columns turn their predicted rates into the same annualized number (hourly × 24 × 365, no compounding).
